Looking to copy joel keelor are you?

Well....you'll fail miserably. The last piece you want to do this year or next, is actor. You will be in the shadow of joel.

Actually, I don't have the faintest idea who that person is. I've seen the chatter on this board about it, and wanted to read it. Thanks for being so kind about it. I'll blow kisses to you from the stage at the next awards ceremony.

It was not meant as an insult. But just as it would be a bad idea to do Bat Boy this year after the shadow Nick has cast on it, It would be bad to do actor.

If you really want a copy, I can call joel this weekend and ask what publisher he got it from.

Actually Bat Boy won Blue Key in HI this year... though he has recieved a lot of crap for doing it the year after Nick.

I heard. Sorta suprised me. I did not go this year, but two friends of mine (robert hernandez doing hairspray, louis friend doing the midlife crisis of dionysous) did. They were not too keen on the results of bluekey as a whole this year.

I am not saying doing a piece that has done really well is bad. As long as you are doing it your own way, its great. I am just saying that generally you are putting yourself at a disadvantage because most judges are still going to have how person x did the piece fresh in their head, instead of being completly open to your new interpretation.

I'll try to get that publisher for ya....joel lives in tenessee, so its not like I can drop by his house, so it might take a couple days to contact him.
